Lonely, disturbed office worker Bob is consumed by hatred of his colleagues and plans to gun them all down before killing himself. However, before he can muster the courage, a co-worker gets the same idea. Proclaimed a hero when he stops the massacre, Bob still finds himself nursing homicidal fantasies, even as he becomes a close confidante of a woman injured in the attack.
