Old friends stick together in outrageous adversity in an action-packed adventure inspired by the Mattel toys, written by David Coggeshall and directed by Sam Hargrave. A nuclear warhead goes missing and CIA Chief Helen (Danai Gurira) wrongly believes that one of her own operatives, Sean Walker (John Cena), may be implicated. Sean's former childhood friends Aimee (Jessica Biel), Charmaine (Teyonah Parris), Crosby (Sam Richardson) and Ted (Arturo Castro) are unwittingly tangled in the same dead conspiracy and join forces to clear their names. The wise-cracking quintet, who used to play with Matchbox vehicles as youngsters, get their hands on full-sized motors and machines to unmask the real thieves and evade capture by CIA agent Mosier (Corey Stoll) and his team.
