Filmed on location in the northeast of Brazil, this eight-part drama directed by Aly Muritiba and Fabio Mendonca propels a lowly bank clerk on an action-packed journey of self-discovery. Ubaldo (Allan Souza Lima) has no memory of his childhood as he suffers the daily grind living in urban Sao Paulo. This humdrum routine is shattered when Ubaldo learns he has two sisters in the backcountry of Ceara: Dilvania (Gaby Lopez), who leads a fraternity indebted to their late father, and Dinorah (Alice Carlalho), who is part of a gang of bank robbers. Ubaldo returns to his birthplace to follow in his late father's footsteps as supreme leader but such a lofty title will require him to strike fear into the hearts of murderers, criminals and corrupt police officers.
