Nicolas Cage headlines a live-action fantasy adventure based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man Noir created by David Hine and Fabrice Sapolsky, who exists on an alternate Earth to the various Peter Parkers we have encountered so far. Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage) is a world weary, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is haunted by a deeply personal tragedy. He has turned his back on his superhero alter ego, the Spider, to concentrate on cracking crimes the old-fashioned way with his secretary Janet (Karen Rodriguez). The insidious influence of mob boss Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson) compels Ben to reengage with the Spider and his destiny as the city's one and only superhero. Plucky reporter Robbie Robertson (Lamorne Morris), who is Ben's good friend, and vampy night club singer Cat Hardy (Li Jun Li) are caught in the crossfire. The series will be available in two formats - Authentic Black & White and True-Hue Full Colour - allowing viewers to choose the aesthetic they enjoy the most
